Musicalo is a collection of specially written songs that help children understand themselves and others, manage their emotions and build strong, lasting relationships. The programme is grounded in research, powered by joy and designed to fit naturally into everyday life.
Research shows that music has a powerful effect on us. It engages several of our senses at the same time, can be felt throughout the body through its vibrations, and evokes memories, emotions and associations. Learning through song is a way of taking in knowledge that does not depend on reading ability. It also adds an emotional dimension that helps the learning stay with us. What a child has sung about can remain with them and be brought back when they need it.
