Children’s Books Through the Ages
This year, Fröhuset(The Seed House), the building we are located in, is celebrating its 150th anniversary! To celebrate, we’ll be reading a children’s book from each decade, starting with the 1870s. Join us every Tuesday throughout the autumn for a journey through the history of children’s books.
How did people read to and tell stories to children in the past? How have books and reading aloud changed over the years? And what might the stories of the future look like?
