Friendship Workshop
Come and celebrate the magic of friendship with a creative friendship workshop and a reading of Who Will Save Alfie Atkins?
Friendship can be easy and come naturally, but it can also be complicated and difficult. That’s why we have Friendship Day – a day for preschool-aged children to play, practise and talk about friendship!
Inspired by the stories of Alfie Atkins and his friends, children get to explore what it means to be a good friend and develop empathy in a playful way.
The stories about Alfie and his friends are full of mischief and adventures, play and imagination. They explore what it means to be there for one another, to stand up against prejudice and peer pressure, but also what happens when friends fall out and make up again. They touch on what it feels like to be without a friend – and even having secret friends!
Friendship Day is an annual event initiated by Bok-Makaren, Rabén & Sjögren and Friends.
Welcome!
